We are Partner of Association of Sommelier UK

FIC UK is partner with UK Sommelier Association. Also this year will be participating to this event with our cooking show and our partners. 

For the fifth year running, on Monday 3rd June, the UK Sommelier Association and AIS UK will organise the Award that will pay homage to the best sommeliers working in UK.

This year a very special host will present the competition: Joe Fattorini, the worldwide famous TV presenter and wine expert, will be with us celebrating hospitality professionalism. 

With the precious support of the Premium Quality Prosecco Villa Sandi, at the prestigious Hotel Le Meridien in Piccadilly, UKSA will award the winner with a £1000 prize.

A Walkaround Tasting will take place during the day. Selected sponsors (wine producers and UK based importers) will showcase high quality wines to our guests, creating networking opportunities with Sommeliers, wine buyers, wine and food professionals from the United Kingdom and abroad. 

On the same day, two very exciting Masterclasses will take place:

– From 12.45pm Flavio Geretto, Villa Sandi Export Manager and Stefano Gava Wine Maker will host:
Overview of North East of Italy: from Villa Sandi Prosecco to Borgo Conventi Friuli Collio.

-From 3.00 pm Susan Hulme MW will host:  
Vernaccia di San Gimignano: Between Tradition and Innovation.
